Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 15, 1929, versatile actor Ed Asner is the most honored male performer in the history of the Primetime Emmy Awards, having won seven – five for portraying Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and two on its spinoff drama series Lou Grant. His other Emmys were for performances in two television miniseries, Rich Man, Poor Man and Roots. He served as the 21st president of the Screen Actors Guild (1981-1985).

Longtime keyboardist and rhythm guitarist in the rock band Journey, Jonathan Cain is known for writing or co-writing such hits as “Don’t Stop Believin,'” “Faithfully,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” and “When You Love a Woman.” In 1979, he joined British rock group the Babys but left in 1980 to replace founding keyboardist Gregg Rolie in Journey.

Kelli Giddish can currently be seen on the NBC (Wolf Entertainment) crime drama TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU) as Detective 2nd Grade Amanda Rollins. She has portrayed that character since the 13th season, which premiered September 21, 2011. In addition to Giddish, the current main cast members are Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T and Peter Scanavino. SVU is in its 23rd season (which premiered September 23, 2021).

Julian Lennon Says He and Sean Lennon Will Collaborate

In a new interview with Smashing Interviews Magazine, Julian Lennon, son of John Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia Powell Lennon, was asked if he'd ever worked on environmental issues with his brother, Sean Lennon, son of John Lennon and his second wife, Yoko Ono. The elder Lennon brother, who dedicated his latest book, The Morning Tribe: A Graphic Novel, to his younger sibling, told the magazine he had not; although, he and his brother had from time to time discussed the distinct possibility of a future collaboration.
