Richard Stevenson Parker (Parker Stevenson) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 4, 1952. At an early age, Stevenson acted in numerous commercials and guest starred in such television shows as Gunsmoke and The Streets of San Francisco. But it was the role of Frank Hardy in ABC’s Sunday night series, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, that catapulted him into the limelight and made him a “teen heartthrob.”

Canadian-born actor James Tupper returned to the big screen on December 8, 2012 in Playing for Keeps alongside Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Dennis Quaid. Tupper stars as Jessica Biel’s fiancée Matt and soon-to-be stepdad of Lewis (Butler’s son).

For the first time in the franchise’s thirteen-year history, the hugely popular SpongeBob SquarePants animated TV series has spawned a holiday album. It’s a SpongeBob Christmas! Album was released in November 2012 from Nickelodeon Records, offering twelve tracks of original SpongeBob music in tune with the season. The album features vocals and songwriting by voice actor Tom Kenny and musician Andy Paley. The DVD SpongeBob SquarePants: It’s a SpongeBob Christmas! also came out in November and tells the tale of some “tainted fruitcake” being eaten by the residents of Bikini Bottom at Christmastime that changes some characters into complete "jerks."
