Born November 25, 1933, actress and singer Kathryn Crosby performed in 1950s films under the stage names Kathryn Grant and Kathryn Grandstaff. Those movies include Rear Window, Cell 2455 Death Row, My Sister Eileen, The Phenix City Story, Storm Center, The Brothers Rico, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Anatomy of a Murder and The Big Circus.

Charlie Daniels

Born in 1936 in Wilmington, North Carolina, Charlie Daniels was raised on a musical diet that included Pentecostal gospel, local bluegrass bands and the rhythm and blues and country music emanating respectively from Nashville’s 50,000-watt mega-broadcasters WLAC and WSM. Soon after high school and already skilled on guitar, fiddle and mandolin, Daniels formed a rock and roll band and hit the road.

Anne Rice Interview: "Prince Lestat" Marks Renowned Author's Return to "The Vampire Chronicles"

Anne Rice was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the French Quarter provided the setting for the author’s first novel, Interview with the Vampire, published in 1976. The book was followed by a large number of widely popular sequels, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles. A film adaptation was released in 1994, starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Books from The Vampire Chronicles were also the subject of two film adaptations, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles in 1994 and The Queen of the Damned in 2002.
