Tanya Tucker

While still a teenager, Tanya Tucker became a country music icon since first recording Alex Harvey’s classic “Delta Dawn." Since her 1972 debut, Tucker has enjoyed an incredible career that garnered her four Platinum albums, eight Gold albums, several County Music Association award nominations and hit songs such as 1973’s “What’s Your Mama’s Name?” and “Blood Red and Goin’ Down,” 1975’s “Lizzie and the Rainman,” and 1988’s “Strong Enough to Bend.”

Regina King

Los Angeles native Regina King began her television career as Brenda Jenkins in the NBC sitcom 227 (1985-1990) which starred Marla Gibbs and had a supporting role in the feature film Jerry Maguire (1996). Later in her career, King became known for The Boondocks where she provided the voices Huey and Riley Freeman and the crime drama series Southland where she portrayed Detective Lydia Adams.

Two-time Oscar and two-time Grammy winner Richard Morton Sherman (along with his brother, Robert Bernard Sherman) is the composer/lyricist of songs from Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, The Parent Trap, The AristoCats and many more. He and Robert also penned the Disney theme park song “It’s a Small World (After All).” Together, “the Sherman Brothers” formed one of the most prolific, lauded and long-lasting songwriting partnerships of all time.

He moved to Rockford, Illinois, as a teenager, and then went on to become a record producer, songwriter, music publisher and musician who is best known as the owner and proprietor of the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
