Actor, comedian, author, director, executive producer Henry Winkler initially rose to fame as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli on the sitcom Happy Days, which aired first-run on the ABC network from 1974 to 1984. Created by Garry Marshall, the series also starred Ron Howard, Marion Ross, Anson Williams, Tom Bosley, Donny Most and Erin Moran. Winkler’s other work in television includes Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Royal Pains and Better Late Than Never, a reality-travel show.
