Enormously talented film, television, and Broadway actress Loretta Devine was born in Houston, Texas on August 21, 1949. The five-time NAACP Image Award winner is known for her television roles on Boston Public and Eli Stone. Playing recurring character Adele Webber, Devine can currently be seen on the ABC medical drama television series Grey’s Anatomy.
