English singer, songwriter and actress Joss Stone rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions. In 2004, Mind Body & Soul topped the UK Albums Chart with the top-ten single “You Had Me." Her third record, Introducing Joss Stone, released in 2007, achieved gold status and yielded the second-ever highest debut for a British female solo artist on the Billboard 100.

Davey Johnstone

Davey Johnstone is best known for his longtime collaboration with Elton John. Their association began when producer Gus Dudgeon asked the British rock guitarist and vocalist to play on John’s 1971 album, Madman Across the Water, after which he was invited to join the band as a full member. Previously, the Elton John band consisted of John himself, bassist Dee Murray and drummer Nigel Olsson. Johnstone has also collaborated with Alice Cooper, Eric Carmen, Rick Astley, Kiki Dee, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks, just to name a few.

Vai has toured extensively and recorded live projects with G3 (collaborating with different touring lineups including Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Lukather) and Generation Axe, a supergroup he formed with Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 11, 1932, Jimmy Carter is a founding member and the frontman of the Blind Boys of Alabama. He is the oldest living member of the group. Since the original members first sang together as children in the late 1930s (including Carter), the band has persevered through seven decades to become one of the most recognized and decorated traditional gospel, gospel roots and Americana music groups in the world. Over the past 20 years, Carter and the Blind Boys of Alabama have worked with Prince, Marc Cohn, Mavis Staples, Ben Harper, Robert Randolph and Peter Gabriel, just to name a few.
